Masonry Painting Services
Rendered Wall Preparation
Rendered Edwardian semis in Bitterne Park and Highfield are the majority of our masonry work. We inspect all render, fill cracks, and cut back hollow sections before priming.
Masonry Paint Application
We use breathable masonry emulsions with flexibility and UV resistance. Two full coats are standard. We plan around the weather forecast.
Brick Painting
Brick has variable suction at the mortar joints. A specialist masonry primer achieves consistent adhesion. We advise on whether painting or sealing is the right approach.
Pebbledash and Rough Render
These surfaces need masonry paint with adequate body. See our pebbledash painting page for the detailed approach.
Combined Exterior Programmes
Masonry is rarely done in isolation. We provide a combined exterior quote. See our exterior painting page. For front doors, see front door painting.

Here’s How It Works
1. Site Assessment
We inspect every elevation for render condition, cracks, biological growth, and aspect.
2. Biological Growth Treatment
Fungicidal wash applied and rinsed thoroughly.
3. Render Repair
Hollow sections are cut back. Cracks are filled with flexible filler and left to cure.
4. Priming
Appropriate masonry primer applied to bare or repaired sections.
5. Masonry Paint
Two coats of breathable, flexible masonry emulsion in dry conditions above 5°C.
6. Inspection
All surfaces inspected after the final coat has cured. Touch-ups addressed.
